Today, I am skipping school like a good girl to study for my AP Calculus test tomorrow.
What? I have not told you about my AP Calculus class? Man, you are missing out.
We are ruled by our own personal Calculus Tyrant, she of the cold heart and pitiless eyes. CT seems to derive (sorry, forgive the pun) her pleasure in life from holding us up to standards that some would call impossible. Favorite quotes include "I'm not going to waste my time reteaching you material you already know!" and "you've learned this in at least five other math classes!". Occasionally, your fair author is filled with the urge to point out that we also learned probability in at least five other math classes, and she hasn't asked us to do that yet. Luckily, this urge is squashed in time for fair author to retain her head and her dignity.
In any case, let it be know that AP Calculus is generally horrible, and tomorrow is our second test of the quarter, AKA The Grademaker, AKA This Might Mean None of You Get Into College, Mwahaha! I find myself slightly apprehensive... wish me luck? Or perhaps sacrifice a small, succulent chocolate to the Calculus gods in my name.
